Join us for our usual informal, small-scale meet-up with a twist.
Marketers of Cornwall, this one’s for you.
This July, we’re bringing Cornwall’s marketing community together for one last meet-up before the summer holidays, but, this time, we're spicing things up.
We want to revamp the meet-ups to ensure we're giving you as much as we can within the 2hrs, including a new (more private) location, guest speakers and niche sessions so you can get the information and support you really need in your role/position at the time.
What To Expect
This is your space to talk marketing with people who get it. No sponsors. No sales pitches. Just real, unfiltered conversation.
We’ll be discussing the topic chosen by you guys in our recent poll; Branding & Content. Our guest speaker Kayleigh Hardy, Head of Engagement at Falmouth and Exeter SU, will chat much further about this and how to apply it to your own marketing.
Kayleigh is a strategic creative leader who came to Cornwall to study at university and never left. She studied BA English at the University of Exeter in Penryn, followed by Falmouth University’s MA Creative Advertising. Kayleigh also holds a Level 6 Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Professional Marketing. Having worked in-house and agency side, she has experienced the diverse portfolio and responsibilities of marketing professionals in both large and small organisations. Kayleigh sees marketing and communications as a strategic function that can only see success with whole-team buy-in. Her practice is people-first, integrating theory and research through structures and processes that help non-marketers become excellent communicators, whether they are writing for Academic Board or doing roley-poleys in content for students.
This will be a 20 minute discussion, before opening the floor for Q&As.
Everything shared stays in the room under Chatham House rules, so you can speak freely, share challenges, and swap honest insights.
Got Something You’d Like to Discuss?
If there’s a topic or challenge you’d like to bring to the table and get your peers thoughts on, pop it in the booking form and we'll keep it in mind for the next meet-up. You can keep it anonymous if you prefer.
Think about what’s working well, what hasn't been so great, and any valuable lessons you've learned along the way in your career that you could share with others.
