Flutes and Frets: Coronations Through the Ages

Maldon Festival presents concerts, opera, film and exhibitions throughout the festival period. It is a registered charity. It aims to present high quality professional music making and exhibitions for the people of the Maldon District. It has an education programme, which seeks to introduce and involve local school children in concert making and attending.

During the concert they play all types of music on the instruments that were in use at the time of composition. A wide range of music is explored, ranging from the middle ages all the way through to the present day.We advise that there are no toilet facilities at Mundon Church (apart from bushes!). Please be aware that, due to limited space, parking will be strictly controlled by our wardens on the night.Please note that we cannot offer refunds unless the event is cancelled.
