Cosmic Cadets Workshop with Ryan Crawford - Lincoln Central Library
Waterstones Children's Book Festival in Lincoln.
Join author and game designer Ryan Crawford for an interactive, imagination-fuelled workshop inspired by Cosmic Cadets, his colourfully illustrated adventure series for younger readers.
Ryan’s highly interactive workshop is designed to engage budding young writers and illustrators, by sharing his journey from being a kid who loved games and imagination to becoming a published author today. Children will explore how to find brilliant ideas everywhere – from funny moments to the things we love. Ryan will also show students that every real-life experience can be described and transformed into an imaginative story.
Suitable for budding artists aged 6 + years
Paper and pencils will be provided but children are encouraged to bring their own sketch books and pencils/pens.
The Child Book & Ticket bundle includes a copy of Comic Cadets and the Bubblegum Bots (RRP £7.99), available for collection at the event.
Please especially note that ticket holders 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult but parents/guardians accompanying their children to this workshop do not require a ticket (one accompanying adult per child with ticket.)
The event may be filmed and photographed, as an attendee you consent to footage of you being used for promotional purposes.
