Join us for our annual Manchester Lecture, this year delivered by Professor Santanu Das, Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford.

Professor Das, whose work focuses on early twentieth-century literature and culture, will be speaking about Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel prize winning poet, songwriter, philosopher and educationalist, who also had a number of links to Harris Manchester College.

This year’s Manchester Lecture will be the first in our newly renovated chapel.

Where can I park?

There is some metered parking on Mansfield Road, otherwise, the city centre or Park and Ride car parks are recommended.

Is the venue accessible?

There are a small number of steps into the main building from the front of the College on Mansfield Road; and there is flat access via a side gate, and then ramp access to the rear of the building.
