The next holiday workshops will be run during the October Half Term -24th to 28th October. The children's workshops will be run between 10 am and 2 pm, with a break for lunch. Each day will consist of two different activities throughout the morning and afternoon periods.The October Half term workshop details are shown below.Tuesday 25th October: Everything fire including fuel foraging and fire with friction/crafty clay; Clay pot making with Air-dried clay and leaf print printing.Wednesday 26th of October: Fire and pizza cooking; Margarita pizzas with added garlic and herbs if requested! /Woodland autumn shelter building.Thursday 27th of October: Woodland throwing stick construction/ Fuel foraging and fire starting with marshmallow cooking!Friday 28th of October: Fuel foraging and fire starting with marshmallows! /Autumn woodland sheltered construction and den building!During marshmallow cooking we will also have vegetarian and vegan alternatives.Please try and arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop. in order that the workshops can start on time. On arrival, please park in the car park and walk up the track to our new check in booth. If your child, or any member of your family shows any sign of the virus, prior to attending, please do not attend and let us know by e-mail as soon as possible. Also, if your child shows any signs after a workshop, please let us know in order that we can contact the other parents.Please note that for health and safety reasons, attendees must under no circumstances bring their own tools or knives to use at the Cotswold Forest School. If they are found, they will be confiscated immediately and returned to their parents.Expect the children to get very muddy if it has been raining and either bring a change of cloths or a bin bag to put them in for the journey home! In the summer there are nettles and mosquitoes, and so it is advisable for them to wear long trousers and or insect repellent.
