The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) has launched a new competition: Countering Drones Phase 2. Join the competition team for a online webinar on 1 June 2020, 1000am to 11.30am. We will provide a short briefing on the competition process and scope followed by an open forum Q&amp;A session.This DASA competition is seeking proposals that can develop the technology needed to counter Unmanned Air Systems (C-UAS) and demonstrate how these can be integrated together to form a capable system.Please note this is the second phase of funding for a multi-phase competition. It is not compulsory to have been involved in previous phases to apply. You should however make yourself aware of the previous competition and the bids we funded . It is anticipated that work for this phase will reach higher maturity than work funded in Phase 1.<h3>Please note:</h3><ul><li>Registration for the launch event will close 28 May 2020 at 5pm. </li></ul><ul><li>Details of the webinar along with the slide set, will be sent before the meeting commences</li></ul><ul><li>The information you provide will be retained by the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) to contact you in regards to this event, and any future DASA communications that may be relevant to you. Dstl will also have access to this information for this event. Please indicate on the registration if this is something you do not wish to do.</li></ul><ul><li>If the event is oversubscribed, DASA reserves the right to limit the number of spaces per organisation. By registering, you are agreeing to your email address being shared with other people who have registered from your organisation to co-ordinate attendance. Your details will not be shared with anyone else.</li></ul><ul><li>You will also be able to register your interest in having a one to one dial in for this competition (20 minutes), which will also take place on 1 June 2020, where you will be able to discuss the competition with technical members of the competition team. You will be notified as soon as possible if you have secured a slot. The number of slots will be limited. </li></ul>
