Contentious probate, will disputes and Inheritance Act claims are increasing year on year, as are claims against solcitors. Larke-v-Nugus requests are common place. This course is designed for litigators who are already engaged in this area and wish to have a broader knowledge of the subject and for those who wish to develop their knowledge in this field. It is also for the non-contentious practitioner to help understand the practical steps that prevent you and your file ending up in a courtroom or with your professional indemnity insurers, and how to deal with potential challenges to validity of Wills from the practitioners point of view.

Richard is a partner in the firm and specialises in Wills and Probate disputes, and Personal Injury. He has been practising for 25 years, and has been with OWC since 1998 (but still no watch). His experience spans a wide range of areas in the field of Contentious Probate, including Inheritance Act Claims, Challenges to Validity, Professional Negligence and Disputed Assets Claims.

He has extensive experience in dealing possession claims on behalf of executors and has been a speaker for 8 years, and he has extensive experience in dealing with Contentious Probate, Inheritance Act claims and possession claims on behalf of executors.
