Courthouse Green Primary School PINS Parent Engagement Event

Courthouse Green Primary School PINS Parent Engagement Event

Courthouse Green Primary SchoolCoventry, England
Monday, Jan 26, 2026 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm GMT
Overview

Join us for a collaborative and engaging PINS event where parent carers can connect, learn, and share experiences!

About This Event

This is the third Parent Carer Engagement Event taking place at Courthouse Green Primary School as part of the PINS (Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools) project.
Our focus this time is Building Resilience in Neurodivergent Families — looking at the everyday things that help our children, young people, and families feel more grounded, supported, and understood.

These events are designed to be warm, welcoming, and low-pressure. You are very welcome to join us exactly as you are.

What We’ll Explore Together

During this session, we’ll look at:

  • Simple, realistic ways to build resilience as a family
  • Understanding stress responses in neurodivergent children
  • Calming strategies that work at home and in school
  • What helps when things feel overwhelming
  • What families at Courthouse Green have already shared in previous sessions

We’ll also build on the themes from Events 1 and 2 to understand what’s going well, what’s still difficult, and how we can work together to support inclusion across the school community.

What to Expect

  • A friendly introduction from school and the Parent Carer Forum
  • A quiet, comfortable parent-only space at the start, so everyone can settle, speak freely, and take part safely
  • Gentle group discussion with opportunities to share if you’d like to
  • Useful take-away ideas and resources
  • Space to ask questions and meet other parent carers
  • Refreshments provided

We will do everything we can to keep the space private, uninterrupted, and calm, as many parent carers have told us this helps them feel safe enough to take part.

Who Can Attend?

This event is open to all parent carers of children at Courthouse Green Primary School. You don’t need to have attended previous events — you’re very welcome to join us for the first time.

Access Needs

We want this event to be fully accessible.
If you have any access needs, including interpreters, sensory considerations, or anything that would help you join comfortably, please let us know when you book.

About PINS
