Another walk through the murderous streets of Coventry's Victorian era with local crime historian Adam Wood, featuring true tales such as the man kept chained in filthy conditions in one of the city's best loved pubs, the conspiracy to murder the workhouse doctor by two of the inmates, and the man who took revenge on his wife's refusal to return to the marital home - by attempting to cut off her head.

Adam Wood is an author, speaker and walking tour guide specialising in historic true crime and policing.

​He is the author of a number of books, and for more than twenty years was Executive Editor of Ripperologist magazine, the leading publication dedicated to the serious study of the Whitechapel murders by 'Jack the Ripper' and their place in social history. From 2017 to 2021 he was Editor of the Journal of the Police History Society. In 2023 Adam launched a new magazine, Crime Through Time.

​He has spoken at numerous true crime and police history podcasts and conferences, and reguarly acts as a consultant for television documentary, film and radio producers.
