Free online CPD devising workshop with Theatre Re for Performing Arts teachers 

Workshop + Q&A - Tuesday 16th February 2021 16:00-17:30 (online via Zoom)Theatre Re will be running a free online CPD workshop specifically for Performing Arts teachers focusing on devising techniques. In this practical workshop, Artisitic Director Guillaume Pigé will provide an introduction to the companies devising process and guide the group through a few practical examples that can be applied in educational settings. The workshop will also be followed by a Q&A where we will provide more information about our education offer 'READY' This workshop is for Performing Arts teacher working with students at KS4, College or University level. The company’s name comes from the prefix re and symbolises its guiding principles: to rediscover, to reinvent and to reveal. Rooted in Etienne Decroux's Corporeal Mime, our work uses movement, music and design to tell stories. Theatre Re’s workshops can support learning and qualifications in drama, dance and contemporary performing arts at Levels 1, 2, 3, undergraduate and postgraduate study. We work with both actors in training and professionals working in the industry as well as community and youth groups.
