Driving improvements in Health and Public Services with the Public Sector Scorecard

Max Moullin is director of the Public Sector Scorecard Research Unit and a Fellow of the CQI. He is author of the book "Delivering Excellence in Health and Social Care".

Many organisations in health and public services are driven by targets which do not fully reflect user and stakeholder needs. This talk will show that there is another way - focusing on outcomes, strategy mapping, systems thinking, and working collaboratively across organisational boundaries. This is the approach taken by the Public Sector Scorecard. The talk will include discussion of two multi-million pound projects in health and public services.

CQI Branch events are open to non-members. They are designed to promote Quality Management as a method by which organisations improve their performance and meet the requirements of their customers and the wider society.
Branch events also to support the professional development of CQI members by:

• providing a forum for open and informed discussion

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Oxford Place Centre is the Methodist Church across Oxford Place from Leeds Town Hall. There are bus stops on the Headrow near the Town Hall.

The Oxford Place Centre is a 15 minute walk from Leeds Rail Station (via Quebec Street, King Street, St Paul's Street, Park Square East) to Oxford Place.

On-street parking is available on Oxford Place, Park Square and St Paul's Street, there is a £2 charge from 6:00 pm. There is a public car park at the International Pool on Lisbon Street, charge £3. It is a 10 minute walk to Oxford Place along Westgate and St Paul's Street.
