Create & Exhibit: A 9-Week Studio Art Course
Dive into 9 weeks of hands-on studio art and end with your own awesome exhibit!
Create & Exhibit: A 9-Week Studio Art Course
This daytime studio course is for artists who have already reconnected with their creative practice and are ready to develop a finished piece of work for exhibition.
Over nine weekly sessions, you’ll refine your drawing, develop ideas, and strengthen your own visual voice. The course supports you from exploration through to a resolved artwork, with the clear aim of exhibiting in a group show at the Stephanie Fuller Gallery over the Easter holidays.
The group is intentionally small so there is time for individual guidance, demonstration, and discussion. This course is not suitable for complete beginners, but is supportive for those who already draw or paint and want focus, structure, and a meaningful goal.

About the Tutor
Stephanie Fuller is a versatile and accomplished artist and designer with over 30 years of professional practice. She first opened a gallery in 2000 and then a sculpture park in 2010, after a ten-year pause, reopened the Stephanie Fuller Gallery in Deal in September last year, returning her studio and teaching practice to the town.
Stephanie trained at Bath Academy, Norwich Life Room, and Wimbledon School of Art, and has built a career spanning painting, sculpture, drawing, design, and teaching. Her work explores the relationship between humanity and the natural world, with a particular focus on landscape, the sea, and the human form, expressed through a distinctive, expressive visual language.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections and museums. Her seascapes are especially recognised for their use of light, movement, and atmosphere, and a recent large landscape painting was acquired by a private collector for its powerful portrayal of the English coastline.
Since 2013, Stephanie has also worked across fashion and homewares, designing yoga clothing, accessories, and bespoke pieces inspired by the natural environment. Her silk scarves and wearable art have become longstanding favourites with collectors and gallery visitors. Recently Stephanie began making wearable art in the form of mica and resin jewellery.
Alongside her own practice, Stephanie is a dedicated educator. From her Deal studio she teaches private tuition, workshops, life drawing, and plein air classes, supporting students to reconnect with their creative practice and develop confidence in their own voice. Her teaching is known for being structured, thoughtful, and individually responsive.
This course draws on Stephanie’s combined experience as a practising artist, gallery owner, and teacher, offering participants the opportunity to develop resolved work and exhibit it in a professional gallery setting.
