Join us in Glasgow this autumn for the latest in CREATe's Public Lecture Series. Each lecture will provide participants with an opportunity to hear from experts in the field along with ample time for questions and general discussion.
October 19th - "EU Copyright Reform in a Brexit Environment" by Professor Martin Kretschmer, Director of CREATe and Professor of IP Law, School of Law, Glasgow
October 26th - “Creative Commons UK launch - Open Access Week” featuring talks from Timothy Vollmer, Manager Public Policy, Creative Commons and Gwen Franck, European Regional Coordinator, Creative Commons
November 2nd - “Press publisher rights in the new Copyright in the Digital Single Market draft Directive” by Raquel Xalabarder, Professor of Law and Political Science at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UoC)
Each lecture will take place in the Humanities Lecture Theatre at the University of Glasgow from 17:30 until 19:00. Those keen to continue the debate are invited to join us for a post-lecture drink in nearby Ashton Lane.
