This workshop will give you the skills to create your own Social Media graphics branded with your logo, colour scheme and fonts to create your brand 'voice' achieving a consistant look and feel across your Social Media account(s).

Content

• Briefly discuss what is branding and why it is so important
• Examine examples of successful branded Social Media content
• Learn how to look up your brand colour (s) as web friendly / Hex codes
• Learn the correct file sizes for various Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, Linked-In) as well as your ‘featured image’ size for your blog posts. 
• Learn how to customise ready-made Social Media templates in Canva using your branded colours & logo 
• Learn how & where to source stunning free images to use when creating your Social Media artwork.

 This course is for you if...

• You have a number of social media accounts and wish to create a consistent look and feel 
• You want to discover your brand colours for your existing logo or get inspiration to choose your colours
• You want to learn how to use an easy-to-use free browser based editor to create templates that you can use time and time again. * 

* We will be using CANVA – it is free to use but has some in-app purchases, e.g. a premium element or image may cost $1 to buy but by no means necessary to use their templates.

 What you will need to bring

•  Your own laptop*
• Note pad and pen.
• A digital version of your existing logo if you have one or access to it  e.g. a website where a screen-grab can be taken.
• Your website dashboard password if you have CMS website (e.g. Wordpress)
• You will need to create a free Canva account. Go to (https://www.canva.com), or arrive 15 mins beforehand if you would like assistance.
