Learn how to use Wordpress to build a website for your business or yourself, to showcase your work or connect with an online community. Gain the skills your need to write content for your site and manage it effectively. We will teach you how to create posts and pages, add media content, and more importantly, how to save, sort and correctly order those files. The course will also cover the basics of copyright laws surrounding online content.

You will learn how to make your website live and searchable on the internet. By the end of the course, you will be able to create a Wordpress site from scratch or be able to manage and update the existing content of a Wordpress website.

You will receive a certificate to confirm the credits you have gained from studying this course.

Criteria

You need to be 18 or over, live or work in West Yorkshire and meet one of the following criteria: be employed or self employed; returning to full-time work after a period of absence; considering a career change; a graduate who is under-employed (unfortunately current students are not eligible to apply); recently unemployed due to the the COVID-19 pandemic; or on a zero hours contract.
