Have you ever wondered how an illustrator brings a character to life?  Where do they look for inspiration?  Join illustrator, Kate Leiper, as she shares her top tips and technical tricks on creating characters.  A perfect event for scribbly sketchers, determined drawers, aspiring artists and those just curious to know more about illustrating characters.
Kate is the illustrator of An Illustrated Treasury of Scottish Folk &amp; Fairy Tales and An Illustrated Treasury of Scottish Mythical Creatures with writer Theresa Breslin (Floris Books), The Book of the Howlat written by James Robertson (Birlinn Books) and most recently, A Wee Bird Was Watching with Karine Polwart (Birlinn Books).
Suitable for age 8+ and adults.
