Would you like to learn ways of feeling more calm?
Stress impacts us all at times. While stress is a natural part of life, when we live in stress mode much of the time it can negatively impact our mental and physical health and wellbeing.
This 2-hour session will help you to understand what is happening in our minds and bodies when we are feeling stressed. We will then explore a range of simple practices (using the body, the breath and the mind) that you can use within your daily life to feel more calm and resilient during stressful time.
Practices include simple mindful movement and breathing techniques. All can be taken either standing or in a chair and in everyday clothing. Participants will have access to a range of short guided practices that you can use on your own after the session.
Places are limited. If you have any significant health conditions feel free to arrive 10 minutes early to speak to the facilitator Anna.
