The CIPD Branch in Birmingham  and Black Country provides opportunities for its 2500 members to network with local HR and L& D professionals, to continue with their professional development and remain up to date with HR issues. Let’s be honest, most networking events can feel a bit surface-level. You meet people, exchange details, and rarely get past polite conversation. This isn’t that. In Creating Connections, you’ll be placed in a live scenario designed to:<ul><li>test how well small groups perform when working under pressure</li><li>explore understanding of a complex task</li><li>practice organisational and time-management skills</li><li>highlight the value of teams interacting and sharing data with other teams</li></ul> It’s a lively, thought-provoking way to experience how collaboration leads to stronger connections both personally and professionally. What you’ll gain:<ul><li>A few laughs (and maybe a few surprising moments)</li><li>Practical insights you can use to improve collaboration and communication at work</li><li>Stronger networking confidence connecting through shared experience, not small talk</li><li>A burst of motivation that actually sticks</li></ul> It’s not about being the loudest in the room, it’s about communicating, adapting and pulling together when things get busy.

Speakers Bio:Paul Wright isn’t your typical trainer. He’s got years of experience helping teams perform better without the boring corporate waffle. His sessions are about action, not theory because people learn best when they’re engaged, moving and solving problems together.
