Is there parking at the venue?

Accepted Answer

On weekdays there is a 2-hour parking limit on Osler Road. Long-stay car parking in Headington can be expensive (£15 for 4-6 hours) so  you are advised to walk, cycle or take public transport. The Thornhill Park and Ride is recommended and less than 10 minutes to Headington on the 400 bus (£4).

What catering is provided?

Tea, coffee and plenty of biscuits are provided by Deepwell Arts - including vegan options. You are responsible for your own lunch, either bring your own or enjoy food from one of the many nearby outlets.

Question 3

What do I need to bring with me?

Accepted Answer

The materials and prompts needed to create wonderful work will be provided by the tutor. Feel free to bring ideas or photos to let your creativity flow. You may be working with paints and inks that may stain your hands and clothes so an apron is recommended. We provide protective gloves.

Is the workshop accessible to all?

Our workshops require a degree of dexterity, and unfortunately there are some accessibility restrictions to the venue, so please do contact Deepwell Arts to discuss any specific requirements before booking a place on this workshop.

Question 5

Can children sign up to this workshop?

Accepted Answer

The workshop is intended for adults and we are not covered for under-18s. If you have queries, please contact Deepwell Arts to discuss.

Question 6

What happens if there are not enough participants?

Accepted Answer

The session will run if the minimum number of participants are signed up 5 days before the workshop. In the unfortunate circumstance of having to cancel, your ticket will be refunded. The booking fee is non-refundable.

Who are Deepwell Arts?

Deepwell Arts is a new arts and crafts venture led by Frances Deepwell who believes in the power of the creative arts in improving wellbeing and social connection. This workshop is the first in our programme which will develop in the months ahead. More information at www.deepwellarts.com

Can I use the studio facilities at Deepwell Arts?

We are making the studio and materials available at other times at a small additional cost. This will enable you to complete projects started in a workshop, or develop ideas further. Contact fdeepwell@outlook.com directly if you are interested.
