NOTE: This is Part 2 of a 2-Part series. Participants are invited to attend both sessions to be eligible to enter the Stories of Impact Showcase Competition for Making an Impact 2019. If you register for this workshop, you should register here for Part 1 on Mon 20 May 2019, 10:00 – 16:00.

This session follows on from the previous session ‘Using your smartphone to create a short research video’, ideally you will have attended this session. You will also need a laptop free “Hit Film 4 Express” software downloaded & tested. All your videos, photographs & audio clips on your laptop ready to be edited. (Optional: smartphone, charger and USB cable in case you’d like to shoot more video). Learn how to use free software Hit Film 4 Express editing software for:

  • Curating, organising & cutting clips
  • Editing interviews
  • Non-linear editing
  • Recording sounds & voice over
  • Adding a soundtrack & Sound mixing
  • Effects & motion
  • Exporting your video
  • Youtube vs Vimeo
