ABOUT CREATIVE BIRTH PROGRAMME:Creative Birth Programme is a collaborative initiative devised by four south-east London women from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. Creative Birth Programme

MILK // 7th October 2017, 4 - 7pm, £45
In this second workshop of the series we explore perceptions of breastfeeding in our culture and how to empower your feeding choices with Creative Birth Programme leader and midwife Laura. Through a physical practice incorporating Womb Yoga and Well Woman Yoga Therapy, explore mantra (sound) and mudra (hand gestures) to connect to the cyclical rhythms of both your own, and the wider, nature. 
We're also so excited to be joined by south London Chef Hannah Bakestone from @motherbrunch who will be on site with recipes and nutritional information on how best to support & nourish yourself in the early weeks and months post partum. This session will also include tasting a selection of yummy dishes designed by Hannah to support breast milk production, and recipes to take away and have a go at yourself at home.
 
ABOUT CREATIVE BIRTH //
Four individual interdisciplinary workshops, taking place over a 4 month period and starting in September 2017, hosted by Zen Yoga’s Prenatal Yoga & Pilates teachers, artists, and local midwife.  The programme includes yoga, meditation, dance, craft, creative writing, food and midwifery support in preparation for pregnancy, birth and mothering.
