For September, we're meeting with leaders from creative agencies to discuss how to work with agencies in the city. This casual monthly meetup is for creatives, students, techies, makers, and freelance folk interested in discovering more about what's happening in Edinburgh. Join us to share ideas and advice, make new connections, and find your next collaborator. September's Conversation - All Things DigitalThis month we are excited to deep dive into the world of creative agencies. Edinburgh boasts many independent agencies which work with hundreds of freelance marketers, social media experts, branding aficionados, web designers, UX analysts, animation artists, graphic designers and copywriters. But what is it like to work in a creative agency? What skills do you need and how to approach them if you just graduated or are a self-taught digital master? Beautify’s street art marketplace is built from our agency experience to provide accessible tools and resources that streamline the process of hiring street artists and managing projects. Our business is centered on our values and social impact including advocating for artists and the creative economy, creating more beautiful and sustainable communities, and making art part of everyone’s everyday experience. ﻿Jessica Mullen - Create FutureJessica is the Managing Director and co-founder of CreateFuture, an innovation &amp; design company. They take products and services to market and drive sustainable growth through brand, proposition and experience design. Based in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, she works with international brands such as Adidas, Expedia and Penguin Random House and has experience supporting FS teams inc Tesco Bank, NatWest Group and Evelyn Partners.CreateFuture became part of the xDesign Group as of April 2023. I also sit on the xDesign Executive team and Management Board.
