Overview

Enjoy the time, space and support to create a text and image journal recording your unique responses to climate and nature over 6 sessions.

About the Course

This is a space to enjoy curious, inspiring conversations about climate change and nature, while developing a creative response to both.

Over 6 weeks you will fill an A4 journal using drawing, painting and/or writing, collage and simple print techniques, inspired by three themes: Root, Journey and Relationship, as they relate to climate change and nature. You will have time and support to experiment creatively without pressure, and to gain insight into nature and climate locally and globally.

This is a place to build community, share knowledge and experience and to learn about positive, accessible climate actions.

Ticket price is for all six dates:

About Megan

Megan Wakefield is a Midlands based teacher and artist with 10+ years experience of community engagement, climate communication and action. She has a doctorate in artists’ peer learning and is passionate about empowerment through creativity.

She works as Curriculum Sustainability Lead and English teacher at Solihull College and has devised workshops and activities for many venues locally and nationally.

Megan never leaves the house without a book to read or a sketchbook to draw in!
