Guided by artistKatie Aird, the session is process-led and informed by philosophical approaches to art - focusing on curiosity, reflection, and personal meaning rather than finished outcomes.Using simple, accessible materials and gentle prompts, you’ll be invited to make intuitively and at your own pace. There’s no pressure to share or produce anything “good”; the emphasis is on experience, presence, and exploration.Whether you come on your own or with friends, you’re welcome here. Join Manchester-based artist Katie for a hands-on, inspiring 2-hour creative workshop.You’ll start by browsing our inspiration booklets and Instagram highlights, filled with a mix of conceptual ideas and collage styles to spark your imagination.We’ll show you our treasure trove of rare magazines, vintage books, and journals—all yours to rip, cut, and play with. Build your own colour palette, theme, or idea from what’s in front of you. Think shapes, borders, textures, keywords… and if you’re stuck, we’ve got plenty of prompts to help get you going.Once you’re set, you’ll have time to get fully stuck in and create your own collage masterpiece to take home!Please note:• By attending, you’re opting in for workshop photos, we often share these on our socials. If you’d rather not be photographed, just let us know by email or on the day.• Workshops are for ages 16+ due to equipment and health &amp; safety.
