Creative Collage Workshop

The event will be held in the larger room at Tea By The Lock. Those who come to the workshop will be welcome to buy refreshements at the lovely tearoom.

The workshop is run by an experienced local artist, who often incorporates collage into her artwork. If you are new to collage, this is a great workshop for trying out the technique, and if you are already a collager or painter, this would be an opportunity to experiment with combining techniques.

It's a perfect chance to unwind and escape into a world of colour, and create your own artwork with no need to have any drawing or painting skills.

I will provide some examples of my work as inspiration, and give a demonstration, and then you will be free to have a go yourself, making a card or picture. I will bring pictures for inspiration, but if you wanted to bring your own inspiration, please do.

Tea By The Lock is a wonderful venue, and the location itself offers a relaxed atmosphere, is dog-friendly, and is close to both a bus stop and the lock carpark. It is past the caravan park, down the track through the gate, and to the right, by the Lock.
