Creative Connection | Nature-based Art Workshop
A chance to pause, slow down and unleash your creativity as we observe the natural surroundings, explore the local area and create art!
CREATIVE CONNECTION
Observe, Connect & Create
Join us at Chariclo for Creative Connection, a nature-based creative art-making workshop.
This is a chance to pause, slow down and connect, as we observe our surroundings and engage in a creative practice.
This session is open to all, especially those who feel they are ‘not artists’. No prior experience is needed; this is a chance to play, to experiment and to explore our natural surroundings. Our focus is on the process, and not the outcome.
During the afternoon, you will be guided through a series of art-making practices, using a variety of materials and discovering new ways to actively observe. We will wander through the lands of Chariclo, the gardens and the woodlands, exploring the beauty of the nature that surrounds us, the changing colours of the seasons, the shapes and the patterns of the flora and fauna.
Most importantly, this practice is an opportunity to switch off, to leave our phones at home and to truly observe the gifts in front of us.
We can be playful, we can experiment, and we can find flow.
Details:
Sunday 11th January
11 am – 1 pm
£25 per person / £40 Bring a Friend
We will provide a range of art materials, but please bring your materials and sketchbooks if you desire.
