Join us for the Creative Conversations Event - Cultural Communication Workshop and Launch of Life's an Issue magazine.
This event is funded by the Centre for Creative Futures, part of the Institute for Inclusive Communities and Environments. The event features a workshop and panel discussion about cultural communication in the digital age and also launches Life’s an Issue, an online publication run by students of the BA Media Communications Programme in the School of Design and Creative Industries.
Agenda
14:00 - 14:30 - The editorial staff present Life’s an Issue and invite students of the School of Design and Creative Industries to contribute their work.
14:30 - 17:00 - Aimed at students of the School, the workshop is led by two professionals in the field: writer and editor Emily Gosling and music PR agent Debbie Ball. Each will run a creative activity and answer questions from the students.
17:00 - 18:00 - The panel conversation features both speakers and Life’s an Issue staff, who will discuss the opportunities and challenges of cultural communication in the age of digital media. This will include some time for a Q&A with the audience.
