Join us for a chance to meet, connect and learn from other creatives—whether you're just starting out or have years of experience—at our monthly Creative Cuppa.

Each event begins with a TED-style talk on Creative Cardiff’s monthly theme, followed by an informal hour to build relationships, share knowledge, and uncover new opportunities (with coffee and cake, of course!).

October’s theme: Building a Network

This month, we’re focusing on the power of creative networks—how they’re formed, why they matter, and what they can unlock. Whether you’re looking to grow your connections, collaborate across sectors, or simply feel less alone in your creative journey, this event is all about the people who help make your work possible.

We’ll be joined by a special guest speaker, Taylor Edmonds, who will reflect on their own creative journey and share thoughts on the role of networks in supporting creative growth, wellbeing, and opportunity.

Taylor Edmonds is a poet, writer and creative facilitator from Barry. She is the founder of Writing for Joy, where she provides writing for wellbeing workshops for community groups, schools, hospitals and corporate clients. Taylor’s debut poetry pamphlet Back Teeth is out now with Broken Sleep Books. She was the 21-22 Poet in Residence for the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales. She has received a Rising Stars Award from Literature Wales and Firefly Press for her writing for young people. Taylor 's stage debut, Demand the Impossible, written for Common Wealth theatre, will be showing at The Corn Exchange this October.

Mae pob Paned i Ysbrydoli yn dechrau gyda sgwrs ardull 'TED-talk' ar bwnc sy’n berthnasol ar draws pob sector creadigol, ac yna awr anffurfiol i feithrin perthnasoedd, rhannu gwybodaeth ac archwilio cyfleoedd newydd.

Thema Hydref: Adeiladu Rhwydwaith

Y mis hwn, rydym yn canolbwyntio ar bŵer rhwydweithiau creadigol—sut maen nhw'n cael eu ffurfio, pam maen nhw'n bwysig, a beth y gallant ei ddatgloi. P'un a ydych chi'n edrych i dyfu eich cysylltiadau, cydweithio ar draws sectorau, neu deimlo'n llai unig yn eich taith greadigol, mae'r digwyddiad hwn i gyd yn ymwneud â'r bobl sy'n helpu i wneud eich gwaith yn bosibl.

Bydd siaradwr gwadd arbennig, Taylor Edmonds, yn ymuno â ni, a fydd yn myfyrio ar eu taith greadigol eu hunain ac yn rhannu meddyliau ar rôl rhwydweithiau wrth gefnogi twf creadigol, lles a chyfle.

Mae Taylor Edmonds yn fardd, yn awdur ac yn hwylusydd creadigol o'r Barri. Hi yw sylfaenydd Writing for Joy, lle mae'n darparu gweithdai ysgrifennu ar gyfer lles i grwpiau cymunedol, ysgolion, ysbytai a chleientiaid corfforaethol.
