<h2>Calling all Early Career Teachers and Recently Qualified Teachers in Yorkshire and Humber primary schools!</h2><h3>Are you keen to learn more creative approaches to your teaching? Do you want your classroom to be a vibrant, creative space?</h3><h3>Then this whole day CPD opportunity is for you!</h3>IVE is inviting ECTs and RQTs from Yorkshire and Humber to experience more than an hour of the following art forms: Art, Dance, Drama and Film; and to explore how these skills can be applied across the curriculum.The sessions, led by experienced and inspirational arts-in-education specialists, are designed to provide you with arts-specific skills, and to enable you to consider how these can be applied across the curriculum.You’ll work with other ECTs and RQTs, and have the chance to ask questions, think about how and where the approaches you’ll learn can be applied, and, of course, have an inspiring, exciting day.You do not need prior knowledge or experience of any of the art forms and we are not expecting you to be experts by the end of the day! This is an opportunity to learn some new and innovative pedagogical approaches to creative education.T﻿his session will be led by:<ul><ul><li>Dave Herbert - Dave Herbert has been working in creative education for 24 years. He worked as a secondary Drama teacher in South Yorkshire for 16 years. Since then, he has been working to enable teachers, mainly primary teachers, to use creative approaches across the curriculum. Dave will be introducing easy and meaningful ways to apply more Drama approaches to your teaching.</li><li>J﻿ohn Mayson - John Mayson is an experienced visual artist and educator with over 15 years of experience working as an artist in schools, including 12 years as the full-time artist in residence at Manorfield Primary School in East London and 3 years as Artist in residence at E-Act Pathways Academy in Sheffield.</li><li>R﻿ajnish Madaan - Rajnish is a Yorkshire based filmmaker who has worked on numerus projects with primary schools. Focusing on the curriculum and integrating the tools of filmmaking to help engage pupils with their learning.</li><li>Tricia Arthur-Stubbs - Tricia Arthur-Stubbs has been working in dance since she graduated with BA (Hons) Dance in 2005. She specialises in leading dance workshops in primary schools that help to embed the curriculum.
