Creative Foraging Walk
Slow down and notice your surroundings during our creative foraging walk. We will be meeting by The Secret Garden Cafe in Bute Park at 10am!
Please Note: This session is for survivors of sexual harrasment/assult those who identify as women and are over 18 only.
Join us for a Saturday sensory walk where we will explore our surroundings through touch, texture and observation. There will be opportunities to use playdough to create stamps of your favourite textures and rubbings using wax crayons- a bit of creative reflection inspired by nature! We have planned a gentle walk which is about 1.5 miles and should take around 45 minutes. We will stick to the path, taking an easy pace and stick as a group so this walk is accessible for everyone. There will also be plenty of opportunity to sit and chat as we go along so feel free to bring some food or water if you would like!
The closest car parks are:
- North Road Pay and Display Car Park
- Sophia Gardens Pay and Display Car Park
- If you are cycling, there are bike lock ups by the Secret Garden Cafe.
Chin Up Cardiff is dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for survivors of sexual assault in Wales. Foster a non-therapeutic environment that allows women with similar experiences to come together, find validation, and navigate their healing journey at their own pace.
There are limited places due to staffing, so we ask that you only book a place if you are planning to attend. If you are unable to attend, please cancel and let us know so.
