Description
Come along and join us at 44 King Street for a Creative Casting and Decorative Art workshop! A unique creative experience, where you will learn a range of new skills and techniques. A fun and involving process, where you will make a cast of your hand, learn various painting techniques, and work with different materials to turn it into a decorotive art piece.
This workshop will feature; Introduction into lifecasting and working with skin safe alginate. Mixing and working with plaster. Refining your plaster cast and prepping it for painting. Painting proceses with your own paint scheme and design. You can create custom paint jobs, bronze finishes, antique finishes, layering paint, and dry brushing. At the end of the workshop you will have learned various new skills.
A fun and out of the box experience. Refreshments provided. Age 12+ (See below for material list for allergy reasons and info) While the course is minimal mess and aprons will be provided, we’d advise not to bring your best clothes or shoes.
Life casting Skin safe alginate. Plaster of Paris. Nitrile gloves (Latex free). Acrylic paint. Water based paints. PVA glue. Papier-mache.
