The Culture, Health &amp; Wellbeing Alliance (CHWA), funded by Arts Council England, is working with creative health consultant Jane Willis to develop a Quality Framework for the creative health sector. By 'creative health' we mean any and all creative and cultural work designed to support health and wellbeing. This workshop is a chance to find out more about the project and give us your ideas for what should be in this framework. Quality is a shared responsibility. A shared concept of quality will help both individual practitioners and organisations across the Creative Health sector plan, deliver, assess, and advocate for good practice.This is not about defining or accrediting practice, but about creating greater clarity and consensus around a shared concept of good, so that quality can be planned and embedded within practice. The Quality Framework is being developed in partnership with the wider sector through a process of research, discussion, engagement, and consultation, <a href="https://www.culturehealthandwellbeing.org.uk/creative-health-quality-framework" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">guided by the Quality Framework Steering Group and supported by a wider Reference Group. </a>Who’s this workshop for?•	All those working in the creative health sector with an interest in quality.•	This includes artists, creative practitioners, producers, creative health managers, volunteers, participants, commissioners, health and voluntary sector partners, funders etc. •	We are particularly interested in hearing from those with lived experience of health conditions.Booking your placeParticipation in these workshops is free but places are limited. If you are self-employed or unwaged, we recognise that the cost of attendance includes your time as well as any ticket price. We can offer a small fee towards your time if you are freelance, unwaged or on a low wage. If you would like to claim this, please let us know when you fill out the booking form.More about this Event•	What is quality in relation to creative health practice? •	How do we know what good looks like? •	How will a Quality Framework support your work? •	What might it look like? •	How can we ensure that it is accessible, engaging and useful? During this two-hour workshop, we will share an overview of our thinking so far, including what we have learned by exploring a range of reports, frameworks and research relating to quality and good practice in this and allied sectors. We will then invite you into smaller breakout groups to discuss the key values and principles of the Quality Framework; the format the Quality Framework might take and how you might use it to support your practice. To enable genuine dialogue and discussion, there will be a maximum of 21 places available for each workshop. A comfort break will be scheduled as part of the event. The workshops (not the breakout groups) will be recorded for note-taking purposes only. Recordings will be used to capture and document your feedback, will not be shared beyond the project team, and will be destroyed once notes have been taken. All comments and feedback captured will be anonymised. <a href="https://www.culturehealthandwellbeing.org.uk/creative-health-quality-framework-workshops" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">This workshop is one of 5</a> taking place across the five Arts Council England regions: North, South West, South East and Midlands - as well as one workshop targeted more specifically at funders, commissioners and health partners. About the Quality FrameworkThis co-produced Creative Health Quality Framework will enable those who work in the sector to better articulate and advocate for good practice principles to be upheld, resourced, and delivered. The aim is to develop an overarching quality framework which both individuals and organisations can use to guide them in deciding what quality looks like to them. It will support individuals and organisations to situate and benchmark their work; and to identify strengths and areas for development as well as training and support needs. Shaped through engagement with the Creative Health sector, the process of developing the Quality Framework will build on existing work articulating what good looks like in related sectors including socially engaged and participatory arts, the museums sector and social prescribing. We will consult on the final draft of the Quality Framework in January 2023, and aim to launch a final version of the Quality Framework in May 2023 during Creativity &amp; Wellbeing Week.
