North Tyneside Art Studio are running creative well-being workshops at Stephenson Railway Museum. Come along and have a go at a range of art and craft techniques inspired by the museum and it’s surrounding outdoor areas. Enjoy a cuppa while you create! All materials are provided and no experience is necessary. Weekly sessions run 10am - 12pm.

24th April - Outdoor Sketchbooks
Take a walk in the outdoor area to collect, observe and draw. Try some botanical printing and shadow drawing! Meet Jess at the main entrance of the museum.
8th May - Lovely Landscapes
Create a painting or drawing inspired by nostalgic railway poster art.
15th May - Paint experiments
Combine creative paint techniques and texture from rubbings to create colourful, abstract compositions.
22nd May - Monet - The man who stopped the trains
Explore watercolour, charcoal and pastels to recreate scenes from the golden age of steam.
29th May - Drawing outdoors
Take a walk in the outdoor area to collect, observe and draw from nature. Meet at the main entrance.
