Creative Kids: Get Botanical!
Play, make and get hands on with Creative Kids, the William Morris Gallery's regular session for under fives
About this event
In April, our Creative Kids event is inspired by our new special exhibition Althea McNish: Colour is Mine. Althea McNish’s love of nature and her Trinidadian heritage were central to her designs, so we’ll be looking at Althea's botanical patterns and creating our own tropical artwork using gelatin leaf printing. The session will include a tour of the gallery, the craft activity, singing and snack time.
There are two 1hour and 30min sessions to choose from, at 10am and 1pm. Please register for one session only. Please register a place for each adult and child attending, e.g. if there is one adult and two children you will need three places.
We have a space for buggy parking and our baby changing facilities have spare nappies, wipes, clothes and a few other items you might need.
