By National Library of Scotland

Overview

Jemma Toller from The Coastal Pen hosts this spring-themed introduction to modern calligraphy.

This relaxing workshop will cover the basics of using a pointed pen and ink for calligraphy.

You’ll learn how to write a modern alphabet, connect letters to make words, and some simple but effective decorative designs which we’ll use to make a spring themed card.

All materials and tea and coffee will be provided.
