Experience calmness in this engaging and creative mind workshop.

Millennium Gallery

Join us to learn how we can still our busy minds before approaching everyday tasks and challenges. This session will help you discover Simran – a focused practice for the mind – while making artworks of your own. Come and enjoy learning new ways to find focus in a busy world and explore your creativity in a group setting. If you’ve not tried anything like this before, don’t worry – in the workshop you&#x27;ll be gently guided step by step on how to use Simran before learning how to apply it. This is part of a series of creative workshops designed to run alongside the <a href="https://www.nae.org.uk/event/journey-of-the-mind/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Journey of the Mind</a> exhibition at the New Art Exchange, Nottingham until 22 April, which explore how Sikh teachings can be used as tools to help anyone. Accompanying this workshop will be a pop-up exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, connected to Journey of the Mind.All materials provided. Suitable for ages 18+. If you require special provisions, please email us so we can ensure you have a comfortable workshop experience. This event is hosted by <a href="https://www.withoutshapewithoutform.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Without Shape Without Form</a>.
