Creative Reflections

The AALERT 4DM project aims to explore and enhance the contribution arts research can make in informing decision-making related to landscapes, land-use, and land assets. It brings artists into dialogue with stakeholders and academics interested in landscape management through a programme of networking activities and the production and exchange of written and visual documentations of these experiences.

<h2>Creative Reflections</h2>A synthesis workshop organised by <a href="https://research.reading.ac.uk/aalert/project/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AALERT 4DM</a>There is a growing volume of research demonstrating how arts creative research and practice can contribute transformative agendas to landscape decisions, including issues such as creative thinking, fostering empathy, developing metaphors, embracing uncertainty, and opening up deliberations. The Creative Reflections workshop will reflect on national and international perspectives to enhance understanding of such contributions, and explore how these can be incorporated into policy and practice. The day will include presentations, small groups, and panel discussions with diverse contributions from artists, academics, and decision-makers and an international keynote from <a href="https://www.avivarahmani.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Aviva Rahmani </a>on Ecoart, Ecocide, and Policy change.For more information about the event, visit <a href="https://research.reading.ac.uk/aalert/a-synthesis-workshop/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Reflections</a>This is a free hybrid event, and spaces will be filled-up on a first-come-first-served basis.
