Creative Shift Masterclass - AR & Lens Creation with Snap (Part 2)

Creative Shift are are running a series of inspiring and practical industry-led in-person masterclasses designed to support your professional development and help you explore pathways into the creative industries.

Each masterclass gives you direct access to industry knowledge, practical skills and opportunities to ask questions in a supportive environment.

Unlike our previous online sessions, these masterclasses are delivered in person, giving you the opportunity to connect with speakers, meet other students and build relationships within the creative community.

Snap Part 2– Augmented Reality (AR) & Lens Creation (Back by Popular Demand!)

Our first masterclass with Snap received fantastic feedback, with students asking for a follow-up session to go deeper into the world of Augmented Reality. This second masterclass is your chance to further develop your skills, explore more advanced features within Lens Studio, and continue building your own AR experiences.

You will also have the opportunity to meet a Snap Lens Creator to learn about their role and connect with alumni from the Snap Summer Programme, the Snap Lens Lab.

What to expect on the day

• Take part in a 90-minute, in-person session at Snap’s London HQ
• Hear about careers in creative technology at Snap
• Take part in interactive activities with guidance from the Snap team
• Ask questions and join a discussion with Snap team members
• Build your own AR lens using Snap’s Lens Studio software

No AR or coding experience needed

You will be required to bring you own laptop and download Lens Studio before the session.

Laptops will be available for those who don't have one.

Due to venue capacity, spaces for this workshop are limited to 25 places, and will need to be confirmed by Creative Shift.

The event will be held at the Snap HQ, close to Farringdon tube station. Full location and arrival details will be shared with registered participants ahead of the event.
