Dundee's creative and cultural sector are invited on a study visit to Perth.

As part of our ambition to develop connections and conversations across the cultural and creative community of Dundee, you are invited on a study visit to Perth. There are twenty spots available and its open to anyone across the sector.We'll have an opportunity to hear from Poppy Jarrat, who is UNESCO Project Coordinator, Perth UNESCO City of Craft and Folk Arts, and to visit the Perth Creative Exchange, the Average Gallery, Perth Museum and the Stone of Destiny. Draft timetable09.59 - catch the train to Perth from Dundee10.30/ish - Perth Creative Exchange, gather in Famous Grouse Ideas Centre for teas/coffees. Introduction to Perth Creative Exchange, the Famous Grouse Ideas Centre and Maker_Space, as well as welcome from Perth UNESCO City of Craft and Folk Arts11:30 – Walk to Perth High Street via Nathan Coley work in Cutlog Vennel11:45 – Visit to Average Gallery. (TBC)12:15 – Free time for lunch1:00 – Meet at Perth Museum entrance vennel, slots to visit the Stone of Destiny and visit the museum.2.00 onwards- Finish/free time Please note that you are responsibile for booking your own travel, and we'll meet downstairs in the train station central area.If the train fare is a barrier for you, please talk to me at claire.dow01@leisureandculturedundee.com
