Textiles upcycling – Make a Christmas gift/decoration or wreath

Join us at the Blackfen Community library for a creative textiles workshop session! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, this in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to learn new skills and give old fabrics a new life.

Bring with you any scraps of material or old clothing not fit for the charity shop (eg they are torn or damaged). Turn these into either a Christmas wreath, small gift or decoration for yourself, your family or a friend.

Our experienced tutor, Nicola, will be on hand to guide you through techniques, offer creative advice and lend a hand where needed!

Pay a £5 deposit to secure your place and then you will receive £3.50 back on attendance at the session.

What to bring:

Scraps of material, any embellishments like buttons, special materials

What we will supply:

Needles, thread, cotton, sample fabric, pins and some extra bits and bobs!
