Creative Approaches to Self-Care

Join us in person for a creative and relaxed session all about thinking outside the box when it comes to self-care.

Creative Approaches to Self-Care

Why not give yourself permission to be expressive by treating yourself to this one-day creative therapy workshop with Art Psychotherapist Rosie Bramley and Gestalt Psychotherapist Paul Bramley, in the beautiful environment of Dovecote Barns, near York.

Throughout the day you will take part in a range of activities across a variety of activities, with the subsequent focus and exploration being on the creative process within a therapeutic setting. This will then facilitate and enhance the expression of emotion in a well-held and playful environment with two working, relational therapists.

You don’t need to be an experienced artist, polished poet, trained actor or therapist to take part, all are welcome! Just bring along your curiosity to experiment with creative media as a means of self-care; you’ll gain awareness of your processes in the moment, in collaboration with others, expressing inner experiences and exploring your own unique qualities.

The wonder of creativity is that it can facilitate changes in outlook, self-expression and extend awareness to the non-verbal. Both Rosie and Paul are experienced with this as artists and therapists.
