You're invited to join us for our monthly gathering of Creative Women in business. Whether you're an artist, writer, creative practitioner, or simply someone who appreciates creativity, this network is for you!

This month's focus is 'you'. Join Marie Warren as she supports us to relax and ground after a busy summer whilst focusing on stepping you and your business into the beautiful autumn months just around the corner.

As we enter into the 9th month of the year, we want to hear what you are proud of in yourself or your business. Please bring something along with you that you can show off. That might be a paper diary you've not lost this year, an intricate piece that you've completed, something new you've tried/a skill you've mastered, anything goes! We love to celebrate you and your creativity. If nothing springs to mind, please just bring yourself. Everybody and everything is valued in our beautiful space.

The Creative Women's Network is intended to be an informal, welcoming space that women working in and around Bolsover district can come together in a relaxed and supported environment, and find something new from taking some time for you.

This event will likely include introductions, some input based on feedback from previous attendees, lots of time for chatting over breakfast and a brew, and some space to help us design 'input' for the future monthly networks. We've already had some great ideas!

We welcome artists and creative practitioners but we also want to create space for women who use creativity in their role in different sectors - so whether you're a nutritionist with a creative mindset, accountant who supports creative businesses, community practitioner championing creativity - this network is for you!

Thanks to Bolsover District Council for supporting this network, and the growing creative and cultural industries of Bolsover District.

This network is running throughout 2025 on the first Wednesday of every month from 9.30am-11.30am

Directions

Follow your sat nav to NG19 8RL and it will bring you on to the site from the main entrance at Mill 1. Carry on the road until you reach Mill 3 car park, you will need to park in the far end of the car park. As you arrive keep an eye out for an A Board with our yellow logo on it.

The mill is best accessed by car but public transport is possible! Let us know if you have any trouble planning your route and we'll lend a hand if needed.
