Free workshop boosting people's wellbeing through creativity

Do you live in Leeds? If yes, please read on! If no, not to worry - you can join in by requesting our recorded workshop (see below). What are the workshops for?We feel that during these uncertain times, we all need a laugh and some time to have fun. This is your time to switch off and take care of your mental and physical wellbeing. The workshops are a chance for you to be creative, learn new things and have some fun.What will happen in the workshops?These workshops that are funded by Leeds Inspired will include wellbeing tips and practical games and exercises to explore how creativity can improve our wellbeing. The aim of the workshop is to have some laughs and fun together and leave you feeling positive - something we feel we all need right now. It's also a great way to meet other local Leeds folk! What if I've never done a creative workshop online before?Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before - it’s a friendly and informal workshop open to people of all abilities, and aims to be fun and refreshing! We would like to make this as inclusive as possible so please do let us know if you have any specific accessibility needs. Where do the sessions take place?Sessions will be online and offer a safe space for individuals to take part in creative activities. After you've booked, you'll receive an email a few days before the workshop with zoom log in details. Who is leading the workshops?These workshops are facilitated by Sarah and Minoti. We are both based in Yorkshire and extremely passionate about enabling creative experiences that focus on improving confidence, communication and wellbeing through innovative drama, dance and playfulness techniques.What if I can't make it on those dates?Not to worry, we are going to be doing a recorded version to share with people afterwards.
