Learn and master the art of creating a flowing narrative - whether for that short story, a novel, or just to tell your own life's tale.

About this Event

Creative Writing; Narrative creation and the Writers journey - 13 Weeks! image

Are you looking for creative writing classes and workshops where you can unlock your potential as a storyteller? Then sign up for one of my creative writing classes and discover some of the tricks writers use to weave their tales.

In other words, if you want to write the next Game of Thrones saga, the thrilling North-by-Northwest, insightful Pride and Prejudice, or revolutionary Hunger Games, studying narrative crafting will strengthen your story, and bring you greater creative satisfaction.

More than that, studying the art of creative writing will give you a greater understanding of how and why stories are written the way they are. You’ll gain a deeper appreciation for how skilfully written narratives can inspire, provoke, and even inform.

Learn and master the art of creating a flowing narrative - whether for that's a short story, a novel, or just to tell your own life's tale. Being able to cohesively tell a story is highly satisfying, and it also increases your general communication skills - great for those interpersonal relationships at work and at home!

These class can be taken one module at a time, or as a whole, so you can choose which areas you'd like to focus on, or complete the entire creative process.

Apart from an introduction to the course, this week's workshop is on Identifying creative writing, and how to find inspiration. It is the first part of a 12 week long course, and will be focusing on how and where writers find inspiration for their stories.

This workshop explores the different ways you can not only find your 'kernel of inspiration', but what to do when you're not feeling inspired, when you've hit that dreaded wall.

As with all the workshops, there will be class work, discussions, and writing exercises within the allotted time frame.
