Writing for Wellbeing is a therapeutic form of creative writing which has emerged from the roots of expressive writing/intensive journaling. Practised regularly, it can help improve both your mental and physical health: benefits include, reducing overwhelming negative emotions, strengthening the immune system and boosting working memory.During this two-hour workshop you will be guided through a variety of writing activities designed for your enjoyment and relaxation. The aim is to abandon the self-critic and allow yourself to be fully immersed in the process of writing.This workshop welcomes all levels and abilities from the curious and beginners to those who write regularly.
