About this event

Wordsmiths – Writing for Wellbeing in partnership with Southwark Wellbeing Hub.

This workshop takes place in person and online and is designed to improve your mental wellbeing with a focus on encouraging confidence, creativity and self-expression.

Open to everyone with any level of creative writing experience within a relaxed and welcoming session.

For residents from Southwark and those registered with a Southwark GP.

The Creative Writing workshop uses a Positive Psychology approach and is designed as a safe creative space to engage and explore your creativity and enhance your mental wellbeing.

The primary focus of each session is on storytelling, (which can also be done with minimal wording and participation through mark making on the most basic level.)

Each Wordsmiths activity is person-centred, so that if one attendee wants to write about difficulties in their life, and another wants to write about successes in their life, then both will be possible with the same prompt.

Our workshop is delivered by our experienced facilitator in-person at our wellbeing hub, which is a great chance to meet people and be immersed with like minds, equally our online attendees feel just as involved from the comfort of their home surroundings.

The Positive Psychologically informed design means that either response would be framed as a positive experience.

The next 4 session will take place on Thursday's 1pm-3pm. Book for one or multiple dates.

Please note this ticket will only reserve your place on the individual workshop. You can book for multiple dates or just one at a time.
