Echoes in Ink is a relaxed and enjoyable creative writing workshop exploring the theme of memory.
Thursday 22nd October | 6pm–7.30pm
A special evening of creativity, words and memories.
What happens when we give ourselves permission to play with words?
Echoes in Ink is a relaxed and enjoyable creative writing workshop exploring the theme of memory. You might write about a person, a place, a sound, a smell, a treasured moment, something funny, something unexpected — or simply see where your imagination takes you.
There is no need for any previous writing experience, and it isn't about being “good” at writing. This is an opportunity to free up your mind, experiment with words and capture something from your life in your own way.
Angela will guide you through a series of fun and accessible writing exercises, with plenty of choice about what you write. There will also be an opportunity to share some of your writing with the group, but only if you would like to.
This is a supportive, welcoming space where you can write as much or as little as you like. You won't be asked to share or explore anything that feels too personal, and you can choose the memories and stories you feel comfortable working with.
The workshop is hosted by Angela, a retired clinical psychologist who now works in arts and health. Angela brings a passion for creativity in all its forms and creates a relaxed, supportive environment where everyone can explore their own ideas and enjoy the process of making.
No experience needed. Just bring yourself and your imagination.
