#CreativeConnect - SUPER EXCHANGE Event

Glasgow Connected Arts Network is the city’s artistic and cultural hub. Glasgow CAN  is invested in encouraging and maintaining public engagement, awareness and understanding of participatory arts in Glasgow.We facilitate skills and resource sharing, and the exchange of ideas, offering our members access to invaluable training opportunities. We encourage collaboration and connection between artists and communities across Glasgow, and we regularly fund arts projects which seek to reach and engage new audiences.We aim to increase participation and learning in arts projects, to promote and advance the economic, social and cultural development of Glasgow, and reflect the diverse communities within it.

This #CreativeConnect is all about growing your peer network. Join us and make new connections across Edinburgh, Dundee, Stirling &amp; Glasgow.

For this special SUPER EXCHANGE #CreativeConnect we’ll be mingling with creatives from across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Stirling. There will be a short intro from each network, a mix of fast paced networking/ connecting and some community mins to share news and opportunities. You can join us for the full hour or drop in for as long as you like.What is #CreativeConnect?#CreativeConnect is Glasgow Connected Arts Network's relaxed monthly gathering, a place for our network of creatives to come together, share advice and peer support and find inspiration from each other. Each month has a different focus, guest speakers or theme.What will I learn?#CreativeConnect is a regular way to connect with peers, this special event is all about growing your professional network, finding out about projects outwith your work and connecting with new ideas from others.Who will be there?This month you can meet the people behind each network, fellow peers from <a href="https://www.glasgowcan.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Glasgow Connected Arts Network</a>, <a href="https://www.creative-edinburgh.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Edinburgh</a>, <a href="https://creativedundee.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Dundee</a> and <a href="https://www.creativestirling.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Creative Stirling</a> networks and make new connections with people working in the creative sector, helping to expand and strengthen your professional network.Does it cost anything to attend?Tickets for all our #CreativeConnect events are FREE.

Access InformationThe Zoom link will be sent to attendees in advance of the event. For any technical problems, please email comms@glasgowcan.orgThis event is for ages 16+ and will be held online. You will need a good internet connection and a laptop/computer/mobile device to join us.Tickets are available on a first come first served basis. We encourage audience participation to ensure that you get the most you possible can out of the session. However at any point you are welcome to switch your camera and mic off to have a break from zoom.If you have any specific access requirements please indicate when reserving a ticket and we will do our best to meet any requests. For example, we can arrange for a BSL interpreter. Live AI generated captions are also available and instructions on how to enable these will be posted in the Zoom chat at the start of the session.Events will be recorded so please let us know in advance if you would not like to be featured in this.
