An online session designed for creatives, on wellbeing and mental health to help effectively support children and young people in their work

Every thought, decision, action, behaviour &amp; belief comes from the brain, so why don’t we know more about it; How it works, how it grows, and most importantly, what we can do to strengthen its development in children, young people, and the adults they become? 
For children to learn well, first they must ‘be well’ and; with a focus on birth to 11 years; this session with Jo Stockdale from Well Within Reach will explore:
<ul><li>How to nurture a healthy, learning-ready brain; in particular how we can respond most effectively to the Covid-19 related challenges that we all inevitably face. 
</li><li>How your practice can tap into this aspect of child development to maximise learning capacity &amp; personal growth. 
</li><li>Strengthen the aspects of your work which support young brains to learn well, do well, and ‘be’ well. 
</li></ul>Suitable for: Artists and creatives in the Arts and Culture sector working in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
About the Facilitator
Jo Stockdale is <a href="https://www.wellwithinreach.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Well Within Reach</a>&#x27;s founder and lead trainer has a background in the creative sector and the journey into neuroscience and ‘person centred development’ began there around 13 years. She now specialises in training all kinds of people about brain development, social and emotional competence and wellbeing issues such as resilience and self-esteem.
Please note, we charge a fully refundable deposit to encourage attendance. Refunds will be sent to attendees within 36 hours of the event/course end date. If you are unable to attend, please let us know at least 2 days before the event/course start date. Those who fail to cancel their ticket or attend will forfeit their deposit.
