Cricketforfun in Ealing
Event Information
Description
What is Cricketforfun?
Welcome to our second year of Cricketforfun! This is an Ealing-based project that combines business networking and a bit of outdoor sporting activity in the form of an easy and gentle game of cricket. (You don't have to be a business-owner to attend, but you do have to be an adult.)
Thanks to local sponsors Colour First (Jo Baldwin Trott, colour and image consultant), Marketology (Loredana Baranga, social media consultant), Isabelle Scott (Isabelle Morley Fletcher, interior designer); and Ealing Connect (Anita Wong, for networking, social media and websites) for covering the costs of staging Cricketforfun (hiring the pitch, paying for equipment and advertising/publicity, and the post-game "teas").
Why Cricketforfun?
- not everyone wants to be clattered with a hard leather ball
- especially parents who have to go home to look after other people
- not everyone has a whole day to devote to playing a game
- especially if we're running our own business
- not everyone is good enough to play competitive cricket
- especially if we've come to the game as older players
- BUT! Everyone who wants to play Cricketforfun is welcome in our group!
